GS Lifestyle

The goal is to keep money circulating in the black community and encourage ownership, titles, deeds, and LLCs.

It’s simple support our businesses. Consciously make the decision to put your money into another black person’s hand.

Supporting a black business is supporting a black family.

Seneca Village

Present day Central Park in New York City, New York was once Seneca Village. Until 1857 the land was majority owned by black people with a 2/3 black population until it was seized and destroyed to create Central Park. Eminent domain was declared and its citizens were forced off their land along with three churches and a school.

“The world is before you and you need not take it or leave it as it was when you came in.” -James Baldwin, In Search of the Majority

The antiquity of black people is one that is overly saturated with deposits of evil and hatred. Has anyone noticed black people are treated less than all over this planet throughout history? What planet is racism free? We need to invent that safe space. To prevent repeating the past we must know our history that isn’t struggle and oppression. We have always made a way out of it. This moment is no different. Let’s learn and record our own history. We are responsible for what happens next, we must come together and create our own.
